Festivalarea is in a park in the center of town. Maine stage; Capasity: 4000 (standing).

Hamar is a small city, 120km north of Oslo or 50 minuttes by car from the Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL), placed by Norways biggest lake, Mjoesa. Hamar Music Festival has allways a varios program and around 30-34 conserts in four days.

All the conserts are within 5 minuttes walking from the festivalarea.

Past international headliners: 2004: The Earth Wind & Fire Experience ft. Al McKay 2005: Turbo Negro and Joe Cocker 2006: Tower of Power and Ronnie James Dio 2007: Kool & The Gang and The Blues Brothers Band. 2008: Blood Sweat & Tears, and a loth of others great bands.

2009: Supertramps`s Roger Hodgson, Bigbang, Hanne Boel, CC Cowboys, Giles, Knut Reiersrud Band.

HMF is a great procject owned by Musikklosjen. Musikklosjen is a association based on idealism and non profit.

Our goal is to provide the city of Hamar and the region with great live musical experiences.

We also hope that people outside the region and from abroad will attend the festival and experience the atmosphere, our beautiful and nice city.
