K8 Industridesign AS has since we started in 1998, worked on problem solving within a large segment of society. Our motto is ”with play, the country shall be built”, which we think result in a better work process and more competitive products.

We are currently working towards becoming a green design office. Our aim is to develop products which are less harmful to the environment than its predecessors. Ideally, the products will also contribute towards increased environmental focus in society. We cannot achieve everything in one go, but we believe that everything can be done a little better, if one puts ones green glasses on. One way is, as far as is financially viable, to choose products awarded the “swan mark” (Norwegian certificate for green products). Think green, talk green, do green!

K8 and its designers have won several prizes for good design and innovative solutions that have improved peoples everyday life. Amongst others, the Sheiblers prize of honour in 2007. We are always aiming to find the best solution for the customer within their needs and limitations.
